Editorial policy
Evidence tiers
Every substantive claim on this site carries, implicitly or explicitly, one of four tiers:
- Tier 1 — Verified document: published peer-reviewed research, regulatory filings, or records we can link to directly.
- Tier 2 — Public record: business registrations, archives, platform-moderated community data, attributed reporting.
- Tier 3 — Community report: forum and social discussion, presented as such with its reliability limits stated.
- Tier 4 — Unverified claim: marketing statements and rumor. Published only to attribute them, never to endorse them.
Authorship and review
Pages name their author and a separate reviewer. Authorship means the named person drafted the page against primary sources; review means a second pass checked tier discipline and sourcing. Updates are dated on every page.
Independence
No affiliate links, no sponsored posts, no paid placements, no free products, no vendor consulting, no link exchanges. A brand’s appearance on this site is never purchasable — in either direction, which includes our refusal to remove accurate negative coverage for payment.
What we refuse to publish
- Dosing, administration, or “protocol” guidance for humans or animals.
- Unverifiable coupon codes presented as working.
- Star scores, “trusted vendor” badges, or other fake-precision ratings.
- Anonymous, unattributable anecdotes presented as findings.
Corrections
Corrections arrive via the contact page. Material corrections change the page and its update date; insignificant ones (typos) are fixed silently. We do not unpublish accurate coverage at anyone’s request — vendor or critic.
